Duck’s Diner was opened in 2001 and has been owned and operated by Michelle Deerman and family since 2014. Her son and now-business partner Garrett Spence has overseen operations and managed the Orange Beach location the last 10 years.
In 2024, a second location in Gulf Shores was opened in the previous Hazel’s Nook building. Michelle and Garrett aim to bring consistently high quality breakfast and lunch food to the locals and visitors to our beautiful beach town.
Duck’s aims for freshness AND quality by hand cracking all eggs, cutting fruit fresh daily, pressing burgers daily in-house and not using frozen or pre pattied beef, sourcing beef and pork from the local butcher shop The Meat Mart, etc.
